Defy the Ordinary: Like a Wildflower, Surrender to the Way You Bloom

In the environments you spend the most time, do you sense parts of yourself genuinely feeling joy, growth, and expansion or emptiness, despair, and constriction? Do the people and things you spend the most time with seem to sense, reflect, or reinforce the same sensibilities?

These types of questions not only help us flex our curiosity muscles to explore and discover more about ourselves, but they also provide us with feedback that supports our experiences and patterns blooming or the lack thereof.

While connecting with nature may not resonate with everyone, wild and vibrant landscapes serve as natural reminders of the beauty of growth when living things - within their spectrum of diversity -  are immersed in spaces that support, reflect, and nourish their way of being, growing, and sharing their offerings.

Wildflowers, both those in the fields and those embodied by the people we know or encounter, don’t just defy the ordinary; they teach us the value of embracing our true essence of our authentic selves, including the colourful diversity of our unique designs.

Life continues to invite me to surrender to the pace, rhythm, and offerings of nature as it serves as a reminder that we're also doing work while being present & appearing still. Evolving, contributing, and being in service to others isn't only valid or valuable with a monetary outcome or related transaction. The frequency of currency comes in and goes out in many forms.

Growth, effort, and purpose sometimes requires us to do like the wildflowers and plant ourselves in what naturally nourishes and fortifies our soul. Being productive sometimes means slowing down and, smelling, touching, observing (and 0therwise connecting) with the flowers.

Building and expanding sometimes requires us to spend time checking in to see how doing or exploring activities of slow living nurtures and inspires the essence of our being (to help us give and offer more to others and ourselves). These actions aren't often promoted or discussed in most circles, yet , these actions help us enhance and amplify our ability to absorb, replenish, and reflect light - in the way we were truly designed to.

Trusting the cycles of seeding, planting, blooming, and harvesting requires us to have faith in the process as it relates to the spectrum of our unique sensibilities, in all seasons; when we're still we increase our ability to connect with all that resonates naturally (with flow and ease; not force or pressure).

Give yourself permission to slow down ... there's no rewards being given out to rush this human experience; they're in the being here and surrendering to all the joys. Including the quiet ones and soft ones.

Make time to go where they wild things are; there’s wisdom to gain by connecting with all that blooms & blossoms free.
