Routes & Stories™
Support the Vision
Weaving a Mobile Sanctuary for
Honouring & Sharing Stories, Grounding Heritage, and Embodied Ways of Knowing to nurture collective wellness and
expand access to creative spaces.
The Mission:
Mending Gaps Where They Are
Overview
Boho & Knots was founded on a simple but profound truth: our stories and our wellness are held in our hands. As a descendant of the Atlantic Canadian's diverse intra-diaspora, our founder has utilized lived experience—guided by ancestral wisdom—
to develop a restorative modality for those navigating the
profound silences of unique and ambiguous forms of
displacement and migration.
We are now ready to expand this vision to the land
in a new innovative way.
The Vision:
The Routes & Stories™
We are introducing a first-of-its-kind mobile initiative
called Routes & Stories™ which is a restorative
ecosystem on wheels.
Our goal is to retrofit vintage Airstreams and RVs to serve as mobile libraries of tangible wellness resources, art and creative boutique, and a travelling land-based workshop space that meets people exactly where they are—in public parks,
beaches, campsites, community centers, and rural
gathers across the country — starting with Atlantic Canada.
Our mission is to expand Routes & Stories™ across the country
and internationally. Starting with tracing the migration
waves of the intra-diaspora.
Inside the Sanctuary:
1. Hand-Knotted Archives
A collection of Material Remembrance™ keepsakes
and designs available for purchase.
2. Locally Sourced Tactile Tools & Supplies
Macramé supplies, stationary, and curated
wellness products, organic plants, and botanicals.
3. Land-Based Provisions:
Sustainably sourced plants, teas, and coffees from
aligned local collaborators.
4. The Workshop Hub:
A restorative space for making our Material Genealogy™
research and sensory-wellness sessions more accessible, sensory-friendly, and culturally responsive to communities.
