Sustainability
Collaborating for a Better Tomorrow
We believe social impact intertwines with commitments to sustainability. At Boho & Knots, we promote responsible consumption, advocate for eco-friendly practices, and educate on the importance of environmental stewardship for the well-being of current and future generations.
In our macrame workshops, we prioritize using organic and biodegradable such as cotton, hemp, jute. At times, we repurposed materials or textiles on a 2nd life (that have been donated or locally traded) such as leather or paracord.
Additionally, for our art-based workshops that include STEM,
we also use tools and equipment that are responsibly
sourced and are environmentally safe.
We also make an intention to collaborate with local artists,
businesses, and organizations (here in Canada and abroad) to
integrate creative ideas for greater impact.
We are also working on extending the reach of our macrame
workshop by incorporating a mobile. This will not just allow us to help ensure we can cultivate wellness, using the art-of-knots
"on the go", but we can also extend other offerings
by going on the road with collaborators and make
improvements to wellbeing more accessible!
More on this development to come!
