Benefits of Macramé
There are countless benefits to macramé, and art in general.
Below we have categorized and highlighted some of the many ways "the art of knotting"
can enhance your lifestyle, bring people together, and improve overall wellbeing.
Macramé (as an art form) aligns with all 8 dimensions of the wholistic wellness wheel in
different ways; Art falls into the intellectual dimension.
Macramé offers a multi-sensory experience that fosters sensory regulation and is accessible, flexible, and beneficial to individuals with unique and diverse sensory and processing needs and preferences. Our creative workshops can curated for one-to-one instruction as well as for small or large groups (indoor or outdoor). We also offer add-ons to help enhance your workshop experience.
If you are looking for an enriching experience that fosters creativity and is suitable to those who are more kinesthetic learners or those with specific sensory needs, below is a list of macramé benefits that may resonate with you.

We also design macrame programs that include S.T.E.M. educational components and can also be paired with our eco-tourism offerings.
Comfort & Sustainability
Our macramé workshops are curated to be offer a welcoming, accommodating, and relaxing experience where we
keep wellness & sustainability in mind.
We strive to use natural fibres and materials whenever possible, and
we generally work with more nude, earthy, and neutral-colored
macramé cord to prevent the use of chemically treated or dyed textiles
that can be harmful to people and the environment.
While we take this approach, those who use their own materials
after booking "bring your own cord" (BYOC) workshops can use their
preferred color and material that works best for them for the project.
We do our best to reduce waste and we promote reusing,
repurposing, and redistributing unused materials whenever possible and
encourage those who join us to do so the same.
If you're artistic, conscious, or curiously creative let's connect!
